About:

9:30 Fruity Water

Fruity Water is a psychedelic dreamy pop synth guitar duo from Brighton. “Just a couple of lads making some dreamy electro-pop” featuring Smalan Odgers and Adam Bell.

8:45 Red Peril

Rising from the ashes of Madonnatron with a new single on Blang Records, Red Peril is the new endeavour of the London-based Italian-Mexican musician Stefania F. Cardenas with Dexter Krenal (PREGOBLIN) thickening the sonic waves on guitar and backing vocals.

8:00 En Heat

Avant-garde antifolk disco-psych rock-n-roll. Brigton’s En Heat bring the disco to those antifolk roots and freak show tales are set for skank and vogue. A dissection of the absurdity of our post-industrial, socio-economic system and an incitement to go out and have a damn good time. It’s a hot mess of wrestling masks and songs about walking in on your parents orgy and trillionaire buffoons on the moon. It’s nonsense. It’s not.

7:15 Lucy’s Diary

Four-piece band injecting an accomplished psychedelia into their infectious 70’s informed power-pop punk. Songwriter Lucy Joplin’s poetic antifolk credentials, influenced by the Buzzcocks and Blondie and wrapped in Joplin’s provocative Kim Deal/Courtney Love-esque vocals.

6:30 The Phone Call

The Phone Call are a London based indie synth band who create up-tempo music with decidedly downtempo lyrics.

5:45 The Clocks

Hasting based high energy rock band, crafting tunes that speak to the core of the human experience.

5:00 Boy in the Cupboard

Boy In The Cupboard is an acoustic indie folk band from Brighton, featuring serial band members Ben Bailey. “wry, melancholic indie stuff with Spanish guitar bits”.

4:15 Mike Fillery & the Other Two

Tunes from Mike Fillery and his band, The Other Two. Born and raised in Hailsham, singer/songwriter Mike Fillery’s wry take on the world blends heartfelt lyrics with jaunty guitar melodies.

3:30 Melt Plastic Group

Channelled onto wax via four humans from Brighton and Hove; inspired by the uniquely warped vision of former Sunlight Service Group frontman Willy Robinson, who lives in Hove but opts to inhabit a universe where tentacled aliens hang out with talking vegetables against a backdrop of brutalist 1970s concrete.

2:45 Larry Pickleman

Larry Pickleman is the alter ego of Brighton based BAFTA nominated artist, antifolk musician and activist Dave Watson.

About the Author

is an Antifolk musician and founder of the British Antifolk movement. Some say he is over 10,000 years old and sees Antifolk as the evolution of folk music. Others say he is actually originally from Anglesey and first got into Antifolk when he realised the type of music he liked and made had a name.
